Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met US Vice President Mike Pence in the White House on Wednesday.

Now is the time to trust Greece as its economy is turning a corner and exiting the crisis, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said in a keynote address delivered at the Brookings Institution on Wednesday, titled “Greece in a new era: Pillar of stability and economic hub in the crossroads of three continents”.

Greek PM Tsipras met with senators, representatives, businessmen and prominent economic and social figures from the Greek community in the state of Illinois, that have a very important presence both in the social and the political and economic life of Chicago.
