Three proposals that included the creation of a ghetto for 50,000 refugees in Attica were rejected, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said early on Monday, following the conclusion in Brussels of a mini-Summit of European leaders on migration.

The government is preparing to take actions on six fronts in order to accelerate implementation of its "parallel programme", alongside the draft bill legislating for the prior actions demanded under the new agreement, government sources said on Friday.

The debate on the government policy statements in Parliament plenum will be completed on Wednesday midnight.
