Main opposition SYRIZA leader and candidate for the European Commission presidency Alexis Tsipras is in Brussels today and Paris on Friday and Saturday.

Alexis Tsipras said that the exit to the markets was for “petty political and communicative reasons” and described it as the equivalent of “shooting one's self in the foot”.

Alexis Tsipras said that "there is no Baltakos Gate, there is a Samaras Gate," alluding to the scandal involving a publicised discussion between Baltakos and Kasidiaris.
