Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Friday morning indirectly cited the possibility of a snap election, essentially for the first time during his more than four-year tenure - during an appearance on a morning news program on the state broadcaster.
"The risk of a 'hot' incident with Turkey is permanent," Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Friday in an interview with public broadcaster ERT.
Tsipras spoke of an "unpredictable neighbour" who does not respect international law.
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, in statements to 247 radio on Monday, pointed out that a negative outcome in the euroelections would threaten the relief measures. The PM is pulling all stops in handouts to secure a smaller defeat margin for his party in upcoming elections.
