Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry's reactions to Turkey-Libya fresh maritime boundaries accord

The Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry's spokesman Alexandros Gennimatas on Thursday said that no agreement should so blatantly violate International Maritime Law and the sovereign rights of affected countries, in response to Turkey and Libya signing a deal on maritime boundaries in the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday but who have not yet provided more details as to how this defines or affects the two countries' waters.

EU cuts €85 million from Turkey funding in 2020 budget

European Union leaders have decided to cut nearly €85 million ($94 million) in funds for Turkey in the bloc’s 2020 budget, according to a German member of the European Parliament, Deutsche Welle English service reported on Tuesday.
