The area between Santorini and Amorgos continues to experience seismic vibrations, with experts estimating that an average of 100 earthquakes shake the islanders every day.

As the ground under the feet of the locals on the cosmopolitan Island of Santorini in the Aegean Sea continues to “rumble” due to the ongoing earthquakes, the National Bank of Greece (NBG) attempted to gauge the potential impact on Greece’s tourism revenue.

With more than 7,700 seismic vibrations, of which the last strong one was 5 Richter, the seismic "storm" continues in the underwater area between Santorini and Amorgos.
