A group of Greek fishermen have sent an extrajudicial document to the Greek government calling on it to take specific actions against the encroachment of Turkish fishermen in Greek waters in the Aegean Sea.

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu launched an attack on Greece blaming her for tension in the Aegean Sea, whileanalyzing his country's new foreign policy at the 10th Annual Conference of Ambassadors.

The legal regime of the Aegean Sea and Greece's ability to exercise its sovereign rights cannot be put in doubt, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexandros Gennimatas on Wednesday.
