A strategic plan with a budget of 75 million euros, aims to help transform Athens into a more accessible city and improve the quality of life for its citizens, according to a presentation given by Athens Mayor Giorgos Kaminis this week.

Athens recorded a 14 percent increase in tourist arrivals in the first three months of 2017 compared with the same period last year, according to data presented on Thursday by city mayor George Kaminis and Aegean Airlines Vice President Eftihios Vasilakis in a joint press conference.
