Greece received six expressions of interest for the sale of a 66 percent stake in state natural gas grid operator DESFA, the country's privatization agency (HRADF) said in a press release on Monday.

The intention of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) to entrust natural gas grid operator DESFA with the operation and maintenance of the pipeline on Greek territory, as well as the operation and maintenance of TAP in Albania (through the creation of the company DESFA-ALBGAZ), was reaffirmed at a meeting on Wednesday between the heads of the two companies in Athens.

Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) on Thursday announced it will launch a new international tender for the sale of a 66 pct majority stake in DESFA this month.
