Greek employment balance hits historic record in March and Q1 2023
The best performance historically was recorded by the employment balance both in March 2023 and during the January-March quarter, according to the data of the "ERGANI" Information System of the labor ministry.

Tourism industry a massive boost to job market in Greece
According to data released by the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE), the number of people employed in the tourism industry had reached record heights, even surpassing the pre-crisis levels. In 2016 and aggregate of 341.2 thousand are employed in tourism related jobs, with the industry accounting for 9.3% of the total workforce compared to 3.9% in 1983 and 7% in 2008.
