National Bank of Greece Chief Executive Alexandros Tourkolias stated that the Hellenic shipping industry is flourishing, during a Posidonia 2014 dinner attended by Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, government Vice-President Evangelos Venizelos, Finance Minister Yiannis Stournaras and Shipping Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis.

Yesterday, during his meeting with Greek President Karolos Papoulias, PASOK head and governmental Vice President Evangelos Venizelos at the Presidential Mansion declared, "...we want economic growth, employment, and a Europe that is friendly and there for the people. I hope that this message will be understood. No one can tolerate austerity and unemployment", according to ANA-MPA.  

Today, Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras pledged to follow the path for political security, and that the restoration of financial advances is the main element of overcoming the social cost of the nation's austerity protocols.
