The government has "a unique political opportunity to push through all the changes that will raise Greece higher," National Economy and Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis said in an article published by the newspaper "Kathimerini" on Sunday, analysing the government's economic policy and performance.

Greek economic growth is expected to remain strong both this year and in 2025, staying above the EU and Eurozone averages, the European Commission said in its winter economic forecast for Greece released on Thursday.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in an interview on Bloomberg TV with Francine Lacqua on Friday, said that he was confident that 2024 will be a very good year for the Greek economy, which is growing faster than the average for the euro area, which he said was a result of significantly increasing foreign direct investment.
