Hellenic Police and Israeli authorities dismantle international narcotics network
Hellenic Police, in cooperation with Israeli authorities, have successfully dismantled an international drug trafficking network. The criminal network was involved in the procurement, transportation, importation and concealment of narcotics within Greek territory, with the final destination being Israel, via maritime routes. The financial gains of the organization are estimated to exceed 2.5 million euros.

Seventy-four people arrested by police for the violent incidents and the shots fire outside the Panathinaikos Stadium in Ambelokipi have been charged with five criminal offences and a string of misdemeanours, after appearing before a public prosecutor on Sunday.
Hellenic Police to introduce four new measures for handling domestic violence
Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrisochoidis had an online meeting with over 2,500 police officers on Friday, on the issue of domestic violence.
According to sources, Chrisochoidis asked the officers to deal with each problem as if it was their own and to put themselves in the victims' shoes. "The citizens want and should feel safe when they come to us. In any incident of domestic violence, we are obliged to do our best to make women feel safe and make sure that before they leave the police station, that they will continue to be safe," the minister underlined.
