A new opinion poll aired on Skai TV’s Monday night news bulletin revealed the Greek public remained unconvinced about the government’s narrative on the closing of the deal with the country’s creditors.

Greek parliament approved on Thursday night in principle and on the articles the deal signed between the government and the country’s lenders with 153 votes of the SYRIZA-ANEL coalition in a roll-call vote requested by SYRIZA, New Democracy, the Democratic Coalition and the Communist Party.

Despite a barrage of widespread and harsh criticism by all opposition parties in parliament the new memorandum was approved on principle by the competent parliamentary committees with the support of the government coalition deputies of SYRIZA and ANEL.
