Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni visited the Ecumenical Patriarchate on Wednesday. According to a statement from the Ministry, Mendoni was briefed on the progress of the conservation work being carried out by European Centre for Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Monuments (EKBMM) at the Patriarchal Church of St. George in Fener.

It is time for the stolen and abused sculptural masterpieces to shine in the Attic light," she added.

The recording of the oral history of the Greeks of Australia and the creation of an extensive archive is the subject of the Memorandum of Cooperation, which was co-signed by the Minister of Culture and Sports Lina Mendoni and the Archbishop of Australia, Mr. Blissful.
