The government will unveil a comprehensive development plan for Thessaloniki that will comprise over 30 projects leading up to 2030, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Thursday, speaking from the northern city.

Statements made by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during the ongoing cabinet meeting caused quite a stir.

"It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Greece. I really enjoyed the last meeting we had in Riyadh. It is a great privilege that we are able to discuss with you the global challenges we face in relation to energy, biodiversity, climate change", said the Prime Minister, at the beginning of the meeting.
