Main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who is paying a two-day visit to Russia with a party delegation, met on Thursday with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

"This is our last conference before the great political change the Greek society is waiting for, and which will be sealed by the next election," leader of New Democracy (ND) Kyriakos Mitsotakis said during his party's 12th conference.

The Parliament unanimously voted for the annulment of pension cuts scheduled to take effect in 2019, in a vote late on Tuesday.
