Main opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis in an interview with voria.gr website on Monday accused the prime minister of lying to the Greek people.

Greek-U.S. relations, attracting investments in Greece and Turkey’s provocations were the main topics discussed in a meeting between New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Jonathan Cohen, on Thursday. 

New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis said his party will not vote for the positive measures the government says will balance the negative ones agreed on with the country’s lenders as part of the second program review, adding the deal is effectively a fourth bailout program without any funding.
