In an exclusive interview to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA), NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg hailed the "strong political support" towards a solution in the FYROM name issue, and notes that "if the name issue is solved then NATO will invite the FYROM to become a member." Apropos of the alliance's policy of expanding with new members, Stoltenberg called it "a great success." 

The Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias underlined that there can be no agreement without an erga omnes constitutional revision.

In an interview with Turkish news agency Anadolu on Sunday, General Secretary of the North Atlantic Alliance Jens Stoltenberg said that the tense relations between the neighbouring countries are not of NATO’s concern.
