National Bank of Greece on Thursday announced the sale of another portfolio of unsecured NPLs, this time to CarVal, valued at 1.2 billion euros.

A meeting of National Bank of Greece’s (NBG) board to discuss the sale of the lender’s insurance arm concluded on Friday, but no official announcements will be made today, according to sources. 

National Bank of Greece has announced its intention to sell all the shares held in Turkish Finansbank, a process which is subject to approval of the competent supervisory authorities.
