The basis of the European law is the social rights and their protection, President of the Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos on Wednesday said at his meeting with the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Pedro Agramunt.

The President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos said that migrant and refugee children would be able to stay in Greece as long as it took during his greeting at an event Sunday night for refugee children at the Chaidari City Hall.

Greeks are ready to fight for a strong and prosperous Europe based on its core values, President Prokopis Pavlopoulos said on Monday evening at the formal dinner held in his honour  by French President Francois Hollande in Paris, following a joint press conference.
