Lefteris Petrounia triumphed and won the gold medal in the World Championship for the second consecutive time at the Montreal Olympic Stadium, where some of the most important pages in the history of the gymnastics are written.

Greek Olympic medallist Lefteris Petrounias, 27, has qualified for the final eight in the rings competition of the 2017 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Montreal after finishing first in the qualification rounds for the event, with a score of 15,400.

Lefteris Petrounias was crowned the European Champion in the Rings competition for the third straight year, after winning gold at the European Championships in Romania.
