A 11-month-old baby, a Syrian refugee child, according to the Aglaia Kyriakou Children's Hospital, was transported Sunday morning to the hospital without a pulse and not breathing. Despite the resuscitation efforts made by the doctors, the little girl could not be kept alive. As it became known later, the medical examiner who examined the little girl's lifeless body found signs of sexual abuse.

A 52-year-old French man was led before an examining magistrate on Wednesday, accused of repeatedly sexually abusing four refugee children staying at his home in Toumba, Thessaloniki.
