A C-27 transport aircraft of the Hellenic Air Force carrying Greeks from Sudan is expected to land this Tuesday morning at the military airport of Elefsina.

Foreign citizens are fleeing Sudan as clashes between the army forces led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the paramilitary organization RSF of Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, aka Hemeti, have continued since April 15.

Fighting is raging in Sudan, with the army carrying out airstrikes even in districts of Khartoum, in an attempt to wipe out paramilitary troops of the elite "Rapid Reaction Force" who tried to seize the Presidential Palace as well as the capital's international airport.
