There was tension at the Polytechnic school in the morning when a group of young people prevented a delegation of SYRIZA from laying a wreath in the context of events for the celebration of the anniversary of the Polytechnic uprising against the junta in 1973.

Members of the anarchist collective Rouvikonas proceeded to "intervene" in a scheduled speech by the Minister of Labor, Social Security and Social Solidarity, Efi Ahtsioglou, in Pagrati, Athens.

"Don't expect the government to fall. What we have agreed with our partners in the government is valid," said the leader of junior coalition partner Independent Greeks, Panos Kammenos, in Thessaloniki on Sunday.
