Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has spoken with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to coordinate efforts on strengthening Ukraine's air defenses and to advance a Greek proposal to help redevelop the key port of Odesa.

All 109 passengers were safely evacuated after a ferry ran aground on a reef near the island of Evia, but authorities have launched an investigation into the captain for failing to promptly report the incident.

With ferry ticket prices and accommodation costs soaring, many Greeks are choosing to spend their holidays in villages and summer homes, staying either at their own home or with friends and relatives, in an effort to avoid the increasingly unaffordable costs of traditional vacations.
