In a proactive step to address longstanding signal interference issues from Turkish radio stations impacting Greece's border areas, the Ministry of Digital Governance has announced new measures for radio stations in these regions.

"Our main goal is a sustainable reduction of taxes," Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Tuesday during an event inaugurating the new building that will house the Independent Authority for Public Revenues (AADE). He stressed that the government was engaged in a "constant war against tax evasion" and intended to further reduce taxes before the end of its term in 2027.

Cyprus‘s regional and international footprint was mentioned by Cypriot President, Nikos Christodoulides, noting that positive announcements will soon be made regarding Cyprus-US bilateral cooperation in various areas. On his trip to Washington and his meeting with Joe Biden on Wednesday, Christodoulides said that official announcements are expected within the coming hours.

A shocking video posted by a coach driver on TikTok is causing great concern and brings to the fore the illegal entry of migrants into Greece even in the most dangerous way.
