Miltos Tentoglou has been named one of the five finalists for the 2024 World Athletics Awards, as announced by the international athletics federation on Monday. Voting for the top athletes of 2024 begins this week and will conclude on October 20.

The first chapter of accession talks with Albania, which begins on Tuesday and concerns fundamental rights and the rule of law, must include both the rights of minorities, including the Greek ethnic minority, and in particular their property rights, Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis stressed upon his arrival at the intergovernmental conference in Luxembourg.

However, this approach changed recently regarding Afroditi Latinopoulou, leader of the “Voice of Reason” party, after she criticized Kyriakos Mitsotakis for having a “leftist soul” and claimed to represent the “true ND.” Latinopoulou had previously aligned herself with former ND prime ministers Samaras and Karamanlis, fueling speculation about her political aspirations.
Another significant medieval building in Rhodes is being restored and highlighted by the Ministry of Culture. This is the Mint of the Order of the Knights of St. John, located in the garden east of the Palace of the Grand Master in the Medieval City of Rhodes, which will be converted into a space for exhibitions and events.
