UK's Independent notes that behind the crisis headlines, now is actually the best time to visit Greece.

The “blind insistence” on cutting Greek pensions will only worsen the country’s already dire financial crisis, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras wrote in a German newspaper commentary on Thursday.

"Failure to reach an agreement would mark the beginning of a painful course that would lead initially to a Greek default and ultimately to the country's exit from the euro area and – most likely – from the European Union," according to Bank of Greece's report on Monetary Policy 2014-2015.
