Former Olympiacos Piraeus coach Michel issued a touching farewell, 24 hours after surprisingly being shown the door by the Greek champions.

Greek bank access to European Central Bank (ECB) funding will continue only until end February and provided that the country will still be in a programme, the ECB said in a statement on Thursday.

The Prime Minister of Latvia, Laimdota Straujuma, expressed on Wednesday her hope that the new Greek government will respect the agreements signed with the member-states of the Eurozone, as part of its bailout programme.
