The Greek Service of the Voice of America (VOA, the the official external broadcast institution of the United States federal government) has announced that it will soon end its broadcasts, after 72 years of operation.

Two Greek men who had recently travelled to Nigeria were tested in Athens hospitals for signs of the Ebola strain, but were found suffering from malaria instead.
