Counter-terrorism squad’s operation to arrest fugitive terrorist Nikos Maziotis did not take place by accident, Public Order Minister Vassilis Kikilias argued.

A powerful explosion of an improvised explosive device took place for a second time within two months at a building on the corner of Kolokotronis and Kyprou streets in Nea Erithrea. The building houses restaurant “La Scala” as well as the home of the sister of jailed former general secretary of armaments Yannis Sbokos.
