The Turkish health minister Mehmet Müezzinoğlu has invited 7,000 Greek doctors looking for work abroad to go to Turkey.

More than 7,000 doctors have left the greater Athens area, in the last five years, according to the Athens Medical Association (ISA), as doctors are leaving Greece in increasing numbers.

Tonight's meeting between the prime minister Antonis Samaras and government vice president Evangelos Venizelos seems to augur a bad climate between the two main pillars of the government.
