Police conducted raids on two Roma camps in northern Athens yesterday, a few days after a child was discovered at a similar encampment in central Greece with a couple that were not her parents.

Judicial authorities in Thessaloniki have asked Parliament to lift the immunity of Panos Kammenos, head of the Independent Greeks party so that he can face trial for incitement to violence.
