An article in Bloomberg entitled “Europe Can't Let Greece Drown in Debt,” notes that Greece and its creditors are wrestling with the country's debts yet again.

The prosecutor has asked for a bail for jailed businessman Lavrentis Lavrentiadis, pegged at the exorbitant sum of 100 million euros. If the businessman posts the bail he may be released pending trial.

The jobless rate in Greece has hit a new high with some 28% of the working age population out of work as of November 2013, according to the latest government figures.
