Singapore Airlines-owned low-cost carrier Scoot will be flying to Europe next June with Athens as its first stop, the company announced on Tuesday.

The Hellenic Navy is opening 30 lighthouses around the country to the public on Sunday (August 21) as part of the International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend (ILLW).

Sky-gazers in Athens will enjoy a double astronomical treat on Monday (August 7) as the August full moon will be followed by a partial lunar eclipse, visible from most parts of Europe, South and East Asia, Africa and Australia.
