Fitch Rates Major Greek Banks with B-

Yesterday, Fitch Ratings confirmed a long term issuer default B- rating with Stable Outlooks , a B rating for Short-Term IDRs and a B- for Viability Ratings for National Bank of Greece, Alpha Bank, Piraeus Bank and Eurobank Ergasias.

Fitch ungrades four Greek banks

Fitch Ratings has affirmed National Bank of Greece S.A. (NBG), Piraeus Bank, S.A. (Piraeus), Alpha Bank AE (Alpha) and Eurobank Ergasias S.A.'s (Eurobank) Long-term Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) at 'B-' with Stable Outlooks, Short-term IDRs at 'B', and Viability Ratings (VRs) at 'b-'. Fitch has also affirmed the banks' Support Ratings (SR) at '5' and Support Rating Floors (SRF) at 'No Floor'.

Hellenic Petroleum Plans U.S. Dollar Bond

Today, Hellenic Petroleum confirmed their hiring of HSBC Bank, BNP Paribas, Eurobank Ergasias SA and Credit Suisse Securities Ltd., to distribute a fixed interest rate two-year U.S. dollar bond.
