IMF revises Greece’s 2019 growth rate upwards

The International Monetary Fund has revised Greece’s short-term growth forecasts upward while lowering medium-term forecasts in its October 2018 World Economic Outlook.
Greece's economy grew at a rate of 2.3 pct year on year in the first quarter of 2018, according to seasonally adjusted provisional data released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on Monday.
The Centre of Planning and Economic Research (KEPE) stated today that Greece's yearly average growth rate of real GDP, has been predicted to hit 0.6%.
