ECB keeps Greek banks' ELA cap stable
The European Central Bank (ECB) on Wednesday decided to keep the lending cap for Greek banks via the Emergency Liquidity Assistance (ELA) mechanism stable at 80.2 billion euros, according to sources.
The United States is likely to press Europe at the G7 finance ministers meeting this week in Germany to reach a deal on funding-for-reforms with Greece, an official close to the discussions said on Tuesday.
