Mimi Denissi and the production company LUMAD have begun filming their new dramatized documentary titled “The Woman Behind Elgin,” shedding light on a lesser-known aspect of the history of the Parthenon Marbles through the perspective of Mary Nisbet, the wife of Lord Elgin.

The head of Turkey's anti-trafficking in antiquities department at UNESCO has backed the Greek demand for the return of the Parthenon Sculptures, disproving the British claim of legal purchase of the antiquities during the Ottoman occupation.
