The arrivals of Ukrainian refugees in Greece continue. The Ministry of Civil Protection announced that in the last 24 hours (6/3/2022) 869 Ukrainian refugees entered Greece, of which 285 were minors.
Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias contacted on Sunday his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba, requesting the Ukrainian authorities’ assistance in ensuring the safety of the Consul General in Mariupol and in opening humanitarian corridor for evacuation, according to a foreign ministry's post on Twitter.
The operation "Nostos 3" to evacuate Greek citizens and a part of the staff at the Greek Consulate in Mariupol from Ukraine continued its journey to Moldova on Friday after the convoy stopped for supplies and fuel on Friday morning, diplomatic sources said.
