Israel's Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Eli Cohen spoke on the phone on Thursday with the Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry of the Republic of Cyprus regarding the electrical interconnection. 

There project of the electrical interconnection between Cyprus and Greece is not endangered, Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis estimated in an interview with the "Parapolitika" radio station on Wednesday.
"Greece is determined that the project will continue normally," he emphasized.

The Crete-Cyprus electricity interconnection project is a project of major economic, political and strategic importance.
