Stress test results for Greek banks are better than expected, a top official at the Bank of Greece said on Tuesday, four days before the European Central Bank releases its official report.

Cyprus' President Nicos Anastasiades met with Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias on Tuesday to discuss among others developments on the Cyprus' problem.  
"The Republic of Cyprus has the will, the ability and the capacity to fight for the promotion of a just solution to the Cyprus problem and has our full support," said Kotzias.

So-called "hot spots" and temporary shelters for Middle East refugees being established in Greece will be funded by the European Union, Alternate Minister for Migration Policy Yiannis Mouzalas said on Tuesday, as he completed a two-day visit to the islands most affected by the refugee crisis – Chios and Lesvos.

Greek artist Anna Laskari's "Left of the Parthenon" was chosen to represent Greece at the the Biennale of South, which will take place in Caracas, Venezuela under the title I Bienal del Sur: Pueblos en Resistencia (First Biennale of South: People in Resistance) in the period between November 1, 2015 and February 28, 2016.
