The Special Permanent Committee on Parliamentary Ethics decided, yesterday, to recommend that Parliament lift immunity from prosecution for six Golden Dawn MPs facing charges of forming a criminal organisation and other offences.

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen thanked Greece for its enduring support to the Alliance including its support of Smart Defence projects despite tough economic times after his talks with Greek Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos in Athens on Thursday.

"There will be no new measures," reiterated prime minister Antonis Samaras speaking to New Democracy's political secreatriat.
