Student parade for 25 March

The grand school parade for the celebration of the 25 March War of Independence in Athens was completed at approximately 12 noon with the participation of 1878 students from 313 schools of Athens.
In the presence of Education Minister Aristides Baltas and Athens mayor Giorgos Kaminis hundreds of students marched in front of the monument of the Unknown Soldier, and, like every year, the parade began with KalavrytaHigh School, whose students wore traditional costumes and the standard-bearer held the original banner of the revolution of 1821.
