The president of the board of directors of the Acropolis Museum, Professor Dimitris Pandermalis, has died, according to an announcement issued by the culture ministry and the Acropolis Museum.

Internationally recognized musicians and producers including Alice Cooper were given a tour of the Acropolis Museum by its director Nikos Stambolidis on Sunday, according to information and photos released by the museum on Monday.

A series of presentations on the lost statue of Athena Parthenos will continue at the Acropolis Museum in the coming weeks.
