Greek hoteliers welcome new labor agreement

A marriage benefit, a triennial increment and two additional monthly salaries per year are among the assurances secured in the newly approved national general labor agreement signed on Wednesday, by the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) and the country’s employers’ bodies including the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE).

GBR: Greek hoteliers expect higher occupancy rates in 2018

More than half of Greece’s hoteliers are expecting occupancy rates to increase by at least two percent while 70 percent estimate that room rates will improve by two percent compared to 2017, according to a survey released this week by GBR Consulting.
