The Turkish Foreign Ministry released a statement labelling the exploration in the Cypriot Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) as “unilateral decisions” in a provocative statement released on Sunday.

This month Greek authorities are expected to launch tenders for hydrocarbon exploration in the Ionian Sea and offshore areas south of Crete.
