The order was therefore given to release the state-of-the-art Iron Beam laser system to the Greek side, within the framework of close bilateral cooperation on security and air defense issues. Iron Beam is now the first fully operational laser interception system in the world, which introduces new data in dealing with threats from drones, rockets and other aerial targets.

Greece's innovative technique of using lasers to clean the surface of antique marble will be presented at six US universities from March 24 to April 4.
