Hellenism of New York, like every year, celebrated the anniversary of the national rebirth with a grand parade in the heart of Manhattan.

Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Stefanos Kasselakis, in a social media post on Monday from New York, expressed his gratitude to the thousands of members and friends of the party that voted in the election to select the party's candidates in the upcoming European Parliament elections on June 9.

The annual parade of the Hellenic Armed Forces for Greek Independence Day (March 25) concluded on Monday after passing before President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou and political and military officials standing before the Monument of the Unknown Soldier at Syntagma Square.
